What is the difference between 410 and 415 chain sizes?

The 410 chain is 1/8 inch narrower than the 415 chain. The first number in the chain size signifies the spacing between links in 1/8 inch increments. The "4" means 4/8 or 1/2" spacing. Any chain size starting with a 3 means 3/8" spacing between rollers. I love this chain guide. i have the wider 415. it is technically too wide for both sprockets.

What is the difference between the 4160 and the 4150?

The most noticeable difference in the 4160 is the thin secondary metering plate, which is used in place of the secondary metering block. While this makes the 4160 less tuneable than its 4150 forefather, it necessitates only a single fuel line (a transfer tube brings fuel from the primary side to the secondary side) which makes installation simpler.

Is the 415 stronger than the 41?

note the 410, 415, 415h all have the same tensile lbs. #41 is stronger. Los Angeles, CA. It's strange that the #41 is stronger because when you compare #41 & #415 side by side, the #415 side plates usually look larger. I thought the 415 would be as strong as the 41, all the charts show 41 with higher tensile strenth.

Which chain is better 40 or 420?

However, the 420 chain is more popular than the #40 chain because it is a tighter fit on most sprockets in comparison. The #41 chain is not as strong as the #40 and #420 chains and will break at a much lower load in comparison to those 2 chains. It can be used with engines that produce up to 5 hp power.
